Many people do not realize that the shape of their face does matter while choosing the right hairstyle. One must remember that styles, which may be in vogue, may not make necessarily make the person look gorgeous.

Good hairstyles that suit one's face can help in giving a more balanced look to the face and cover up minor flaws with little adjustments. Here are a few tips, which can help you in deciding the right kind of hairstyle to blend with your face:
- Generally, people with round faces can pick up hairstyles that can lend a slim and longer look to the face. It is preferable to have shoulder length hair to give more length so that the face appears more proportionate.

- Side fringes may also help in reducing the width of the face and make the chin look more sleek and slender. As far as possible, try to avoid hairstyles like blunt cuts, bobs that can add more volume to the face.
- If you have a square and angular appearance, then it is best to select a hairstyle to add more soft layers to the face. Choose hairstyles that lend more volume to your forehead and it is best to stay away from short and cropped look.   Press the NEXT button to continue the topic Get a book

  1. This one was a very quick read, so let's keep this simple!

    The good:
    - great photos,
    - great hair,
    - it does teach you some basics.
I wouldn't say you'll learn how to style your hair fron here, but there are a few pieces of good advice that not everyone may nome (namely regarding shampooing and some tools).

    The bad:
    - it isn't detailed enough,
    - repetitive use of two motifs.
The "things will be explained later" (which they never do) and the "how awesome me and my clients are" really drag the rating of this book down. It's too self-centered, and people pick up the book foi hair tips and not for advertisement on Robert's new blow-dryer.

(If anyone knows of really good books on hair and hairstyles, please comment, I'm very interested in these)
